Halloween Bloody Baked Brie

This gory, Bloody Baked Brie is the perfect spooky appetizer for Halloween! This brie not only looks festive, but tastes delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Brie cheese wheel
  • 3 Tablespoons red pepper jam
  • 2-3 Tablespoons hot water
  • Flaky salt optional
  • 1 Baguette warmed and sliced

Instructions
 

  • Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Place the brie on the parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes. Until the brie is melted, but not liquid.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the pepper jam blood. In a bowl, combine the jam with hot water, starting with 2 tablespoons and adding more as needed until you reach the desired consistency. Fill the syringe with the pepper jam blood.
  • Carefully transfer the brie on the parchment paper to a serving dish. Spoon a layer of the pepper jam over the top of the brie, making a few "blood drips" down the sides. Sprinkle a bit of flaky salt over the jam, if using.
  • Place the pepper jam filled syringe in the center of the brie or on the side. Serve with the warmed baguette slices or crackers.
