Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 1 Brie cheese wheel
- 3 Tablespoons red pepper jam
- 2-3 Tablespoons hot water
- Flaky salt optional
- 1 Baguette warmed and sliced
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Place the brie on the parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes. Until the brie is melted, but not liquid.
Meanwhile, prepare the pepper jam blood. In a bowl, combine the jam with hot water, starting with 2 tablespoons and adding more as needed until you reach the desired consistency. Fill the syringe with the pepper jam blood.
Carefully transfer the brie on the parchment paper to a serving dish. Spoon a layer of the pepper jam over the top of the brie, making a few "blood drips" down the sides. Sprinkle a bit of flaky salt over the jam, if using.
Place the pepper jam filled syringe in the center of the brie or on the side. Serve with the warmed baguette slices or crackers.
Enjoy spooky season!
